April 29

Fly to Zurich from Salt Lake City on Delta Airlines! (other U.S. cities are available).

April 30

Today you will arrive in Zurich and embark on a Lintz chocolate tour before transferring to Interlaken.

May 1

The adventure continues with a visit to Grindelwald where you'll take the First gondola. You'll then explore the St. Beatus Caves and drive to Basel, where passengers are welcome to board the ship at 6 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, you'll enjoy dinner on board.

May 2

Today's activities will include an afternoon guided tour of Colmar and the Unterlinden Museum. Colmar is a colorful city bursting with Alsatian charm, and you’ll spend time in the romantic Little Venice neighborhood before visiting the museum, which spans 7,000 years of history from prehistoric times to modern art. The most regarded masterpiece in its collection is the polyptych by artists Niclaus of Haguenau and Grünewald. Dinner and evening entertainment will follow back on the ship.

May 3

This morning will be spent cruising through the vineyards along the Vosges mountain range, the Black Forest, and the Alsatian plains.

May 4

Today you will enjoy a guided tour of Mainz and the Gutenberg Museum, then return on board to cruise the most beautiful part of the Rhine River towards Koblenz, passing numerous castles and the infamous Lorelei Rock. This evening, there will be a tour of Koblenz with the hostess.

May 5

Today involves cruising to Cologne, passing through the cities of Andernach, Königswinter, and Bonn. Upon approaching Cologne, you’ll catch a glimpse of the Seven Hills (Siebengebirge), known for the myths and fairytales about their origins. After arriving in Cologne, you will have a guided tour of this historical crossroads of Europe, visiting the immense Gothic cathedral—the tallest twin-spire church in the world and the most visited landmark in Germany—and strolling through the Old Town past the famous Farina Fragrance Museum. After some free time, you will return to the ship and be transferred to Düsseldorf by coach, where you will enjoy a festive gala evening.

May 6

The journey continues with a visit to the Netherlands Open-Air Museum in Arnhem. This national museum focuses on the everyday life of Dutch people throughout history and includes old homes, farms, and factories from different regions. You can explore the attractions at your own pace or take authentic trams. As you enjoy your day, the ship will cruise to Nijmegen, where you will board again and begin cruising to Amsterdam.

May 7

There will be a panoramic tour of Amsterdam, with visits to a diamond merchant, the tallest windmill in the Netherlands (De Gooyer), and the floating flower market. In the afternoon, you will visit the Keukenhof Gardens, where you can tour the beautiful spring gardens at your own pace, including the Orchid House, the Japanese Garden, and a 19th-century windmill on the edge of the tulip fields. Keukenhof also showcases the works of 25 artists.

May 8

You will explore the Rijksmuseum and Anne Frank House, followed by an overnight stay at a hotel in Amsterdam.

May 9

There will be a morning departure for a nonstop flight back to Salt Lake City, with an early afternoon arrival. Thanks for traveling with us!
